My power lies in connecting visuals, text and graphic design. I can get lost for hours deep diving into interesting topics and creating a storyline with the right visuals. As a personal project, I published a magazine for NUMERO as a fictional client.
This magazine explores the need for purpose in life and work. What are the connecting factors to feeling like you belong? In my research I came across the concept of Third Places. A place that is not your home, and not work. A place to spend your free time, with likeminded people, sharing an activity together. These Third Places look different to everyone, but are essential for the sense of belonging we desperately look for.
This is an ode to Third Places.
